Kirk Reed


As chief investment officer and chief financial officer, Kirk Reed leads all of Lloyd Jones’ investment and development subsidiaries and oversees the management of the firm’s corporate finances. Kirk brings 20 years of real estate finance and transaction experience to the position, including leadership roles at two of the world’s largest hospitality firms.

Most recently, Kirk served as vice president of investments for the Americas at InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG), where he oversaw corporate investment finance for the region as well as investment analysis for corporate acquisitions, portfolio deals, joint ventures, and hotel investments.

Previously, he was vice president at Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide, leading the global development committee, global investment analysis, and Americas feasibility teams.

Earlier in his career, Kirk was the leader of the New York office in the hospitality and leisure sector of the financial advisory services practice for PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC). He also managed luxury hotel and restaurant operations in New York City and the Caribbean.

Kirk holds a bachelor’s degree in economics, a master’s degree in global hospitality management from New York University, and an MBA in finance and economics from the Columbia Business School.
