Mark Svenjak
Mark Svenjak brings years of progressive experience in hospitality and real estate development, investment analysis, due diligence, valuation, strategy, and market and financial analysis. As a member of the investment team at Lloyd Jones, Mark and his associates source and analyze hotel acquisitions nationwide. Mark is responsible for advising on the best business strategy for each acquisition opportunity, including potential conversions of select-service hotels into senior housing.
Prior to joining Lloyd Jones, Mark served as senior associate of strategy and transactions in the real estate, hospitality, and tourism sector for Ernst & Young. In this role, he worked with a variety of real estate and hospitality-specific clients, including owners, developers, lenders, pension funds, and Fortune 500 companies across the globe. There, he also advised on mixed-use, hospitality, multifamily, and for-sale residential development projects, and provided financial analyses for various private equity and real estate development clients for planned investments exceeding $550+ million.
Mark earned a Bachelor of Science from Cornell University with a major in hotel administration and a minor in real estate. Mark served as president and director of finance for the Cornell chapter of the American Hotel & Lodging Association (AHLA) during his undergraduate studies.
