MIAMI- This month, Lloyd Jones, a leading multifamily, senior housing, and hotel investment, development, and management firm, announced a corporate partnership with Annabel’s Closet, pledging a philanthropic commitment that includes both a quarterly monetary contribution and donation of volunteer time by employees.
Annabel’s Closet is an Orlando-based non-profit organization whose mission is to assist families of domestic violence. The organization collects donations of gently used furniture and essential household items to help families start a fresh life in their new homes at zero cost.
“We chose to partner with this organization because its purpose ties closely with our own mission to provide quality housing that makes lives better,” Chris Finlay, chairman and CEO of Lloyd Jones, said. “We’re pleased to support a cause that aligns so well with our own core values of passion, compassion, and optimism.”
The partnership represents just one of Lloyd Jones’ environmental, social, and governance (ESG) initiatives, through a program it calls Impactful Investing. Impactful Investing aims to position the firm as a leader in sustainability and social responsibility through dedicated programs like organized volunteer events and providing employees with paid time off for volunteerism.
The next Lloyd Jones team volunteer day with Annabel’s Closet is scheduled for late October.
